W Emory Quilt Jacket from Everest is a lightly padded jacket that works just as well as a spring and autumn jacket as it does as a warming layer under another jacket. The jacket's three layers – outer fabric, padding, and inner lining – are made of 100% recycled polyester and are quilted together using an "ultra sonic" technique, which means that the visible quilting is not sewn with thread. The high, cozy collar provides extra protection against the cold, and the ribbed cuffs at the sleeve ends seal tightly to keep the warmth in. The jacket has two side pockets with zippers and an adjustable waist with an elastic drawstring on the inside, where the back part can be adjusted for a better fit. A protective wind flap on the inside of the front zipper prevents wind and cold from penetrating and also protects the garments underneath from getting caught in the zipper. The jacket is 3-in-1 compatible. A loop at the back of the neck allows you to connect your thinner lightweight jacket, as a warming layer, under another jacket. This way, you can create combinations of garments that you can use for a longer part of the season.
